Event details:
Admit it, you are tired of being stuck indoors toiling over yet another 1000 piece puzzle. If only you could escape to someplace outside for some fresh air and adventure. Don’t despair, help is on the way! Ryan Kelly and Terrie Klinger, Marine biologists by trade, have, together with John Meyer, written a beautiful and informative book about the Pacific Northwest coast, entitled Between the Tides In Washington and Oregon, and are coming to Eagle Harbor Book Co., to reveal the places and the animals that make our coast so special. Their discussion will include some gorgeous photographs of their favorite places as well.
About Between the Tides: Ryan and Terrie’s book is not a dry scientific text, but a lively and engaging guide that will make you want to grab your boots and binoculars and head to the beach. You will find stunning photos of the coastal scenery and the creatures that live there, as well as maps and details of specific beaches you can check out yourself.
So hold off on that puzzle. Instead, head over to Eagle Harbor Book Co. and spend the evening with Ryan and Terrie. Then, with a signed copy of Between the Tides as your guide, you’ll be ready to explore our treasured Pacific Northwest coast!
This event is free to the public, but we ask that you RSVP so we can ensure a seat for everyone.
